the world so large and great
leaving my life in the hands of fate
looking up at the stars
wondering where you are
the two of us sharing the moon light
hoping to be together one night
so many dates gone wrong
time seeming so long
the shedding of tears
the overcoming of fears
all will be worth it when that time comes
when the search can finally be done
