Eternity

From the first time I saw you walk in

Your heart is something I had to win

I had never felt about a girl this way

For once I was speechless and didn’t know what to say

You made my heart skip a beat

I was going to do anything to sweep you off your feet

I remember our first date

Being with you I knew this was fate

I sat there staring in your eyes

Just sitting waiting for the next surprise

One thing led to another

I then met your father and mother

Nothing is like your beautiful smile

It always takes my breath away for a while

I didn’t think anyone could be as perfect as you

But your making all my dreams come true

Before you accept this ring

I want to tell one thing

As I go through life I will make mistakes

But I promise ill do what it takes

There will be times when ill make you mad

I will try to be the very best dad

Ill probably make you shed a few tears

Yet ill protect you from all of your fears

I will always give it my all

And I will be behind you and catch you when you fall

The years will go fast

But ill try to make the next better then the last

In this world there is no other

That I would want to be my children’s mother

My goal when were together

Will always be to make you smile forever

I never truly will be able to express my love

All I can do is thank my Father above

I will always try to be here so there’s nothing ill miss

I cherish everything from you even the smallest kiss

You are my warmth when I'm cold

When God made beauty you were no doubt the mold

I’m here to give you my whole heart

There is never an end but always a new start

Without you there’s a hole in my life

That’s why I want nothing more than for you to be my wife

In my mind there is no doubt or uncertainty

That you are to be my girl for eternity
