"The Place I've Always Been"
Here I stand again
A place many times I've been
The same ending
With yet a different beginning
No matter what I try
I always end up asking why
My biggest fear
To be standing here
A new path I took
I made sure to look
Through twists and turns
I was sure I learned
Made sure to not make
That same repeated mistake
Yet here again I stand
Oh how I'll never understand
How do all these paths
Lead to the same point I ask
It is not possible
Seems near implausible
Maybe this isn't wrong
This is just where I belong
Here is where I end
I should stop trying to pretend
Alone here at this place
All hopes and dreams erased
No more need try again
The end is a place I've always been
