Girl in my reality

Oh such an amazing thing the stillness in the air

When you come about and how easily you still my stare

So close it seems I am to you

Yet distance seems to be more true

Your happiness is a such a constant occupant in my mind

Fervently chasing away the clouds to expose your warm shine

Reality crashing down upon my wishes

Seemingly always leaving me in need of stitches

Thoughts and emotions race through my head

As I lay lost in utter confinement in my bed

My eye lids slowly sweep me away

to a place erasing the sorrows of the day

Here all bounds are broken

As Only words of the heart are spoken

Life no longer holds us apart

As Flames ignite from those breathtaking sparks

I no longer let sadness come about

As truths move in and cast aside all doubt

Wishes become thank yous

As I now how have everything to lose

Your love fills that vast hole

As your joy engulfs my soul

In each others Arms we dance in warm embrace

As we twirl through the stars face to face

Nothing matters other then we're here together

Laughing and smiling together forever

So grateful that we both followed our stars

Now able to treat you as the angel you are

Again having to watch you Slowly drift away

At the cause of the arising of a new day

I would look forward much more to awakening

If only you too were dreaming this same sweet thing

I would wake with a smile

Instead of wishing to drift back off for a while

Each day counting the hours

Until the sun sets and again the world is ours

I will always be here until that time

Continually praying for you in my mind

Waiting for our dreams to coincide

So I can finally tell you how I feel inside

The girl in my dreams you will always be

Hoping one day you will also be the girl in my reality
